Frequently asked questions
How do you count days between two dates?
We take the difference between the two dates in milliseconds and divide by one day. The result is the number of full days from the start date up to the end date.
Is the end date included?
The total is the gap between the dates, so the end date itself is not counted as an extra day. From 1 Jan to 2 Jan is 1 day. Add 1 if you need an inclusive count.
What if the “To” date is earlier than the “From” date?
We automatically use the absolute gap, so the numbers stay positive no matter which way round you enter the dates.
Does this run online?
