Changelog

Last updated: 26 July 2026

A running log of what we've shipped. New tools land regularly — the roadmap below shows what's coming next.

CSV Tools, guides & UUID versions 2026-07-26

  • New CSV Tools category with 75 in-browser tools: convert (CSV⇄TSV/XML/YAML/HTML/JSONL, →SQL/LaTeX/fixed-width), row & column operations, clean, analyze, transform, extract and privacy tools.
  • Multi-file CSV tools: merge, split, split-by-column, compare, and find missing / common rows.
  • New Learn section (/learn) with in-depth guides authored in MDX — starting with “UUIDs Explained” and “CSV Files Explained”. Each tool page links to its guide.
  • Added UUID generators for every version: v1, v3, v5, v7 and the nil UUID (alongside the existing v4).

Sharing, Ask-AI & site polish 2026-07-26

  • Replaced the copy button with a Share menu — copy link, WhatsApp, X, Telegram, LinkedIn, Email and native share.
  • Added “Ask about this tool on” links (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Grok) to every tool page and the footer.
  • Shipped all previously “Soon” tools, unified the button styling, made tool pages full-width, and strengthened internal linking. Campaign UTM parameters now persist across navigation.

New “Data & Transform” category 2026-07-26

  • Added a Data & Transform category with 23 tools: JSON⇄CSV, JSON⇄YAML, JSON⇄XML, JSON⇄TOML, CSV→Markdown table, JS-object⇄JSON, CSS⇄JS objects, HTML→JSX and SVG→JSX.
  • Added JSON code generation for TypeScript, Go, Rust, Python, Java, Kotlin, C#, Swift and JSON Schema (powered by quicktype).
  • Every converter runs in your browser — libraries load on demand and your data is never uploaded (enforced by our Content-Security-Policy).

Shareable links, input tabs & upcoming tools 2026-07-26

  • Every tool is now addressable by URL — see the new URL & Query-Parameter API.
  • Added a “Copy shareable link” button that encodes your inputs (compressed into the URL fragment when large — never uploaded).
  • New input toolbar on text tools: Try a sample, Upload file, and Load from URL — all read in your browser.
  • Published the roadmap: upcoming tools now appear as “Soon” cards across the site.

Subfolder URLs & credits 2026-07-01

  • Moved every tool to www.codingsetu.com/<category>/<tool> as the canonical URL; category subdomains now redirect here.
  • Added a Credits page and per-tool credits for the open-source libraries that run in your browser.

Launch 2026-06-15

  • Launched CodingSetu with 381+ free calculators, converters, formatters and generators.
  • Everything runs entirely in your browser — no sign-up, no tracking, nothing uploaded.

Coming soon

Tools we're actively building. They appear as “Soon” cards across the site until they go live.
