Discount Calculator
Free discount calculator — get the sale price and amount saved from a percentage discount, including stacked extra discounts. Instant and private.
Runs entirely in your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded or stored.
Single and stacked discounts
Enter the original price and the discount percentage to see the final price and how much you save. The extra discount field lets you stack a second offer that applies after the first one.
Why stacked isn't just added
Two discounts multiply rather than add. A 20% discount followed by a 10% discount leaves you paying 0.8 × 0.9 = 0.72 of the price — a 28% effective discount, not 30%.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate the final price after a discount?
Multiply the original price by the discount percentage to get the amount off, then subtract it. For example, 20% off ₹2,000 is ₹400 off, giving a final price of ₹1,600.
How do stacked discounts work?
A second discount applies to the already-reduced price, not the original. So 20% then 10% is not 30% off — it is 0.8 × 0.9 = 0.72, an effective discount of 28%.
What is the effective discount?
It is the single percentage that would give the same final price as your combined discounts: (amount saved ÷ original price) × 100.
Is this discount calculator free and private?
